Jugofuturism exists within the imaginary borders of countries in the former Yugoslavia, but at the same time the border marks both imprisonment and openness, borders are the crossings, incursions, and refugees.
Jugofuturism is not vulnerable to former Yugoslavia's space and is not imposing the idea of relations between those countries. But it imposes a connection between them, arguing that they exist as a community within which certain historical processes, which are abstracted by all individual historical facts.
The common history of the former Yugoslavia is not worn out along with its decline, it is undetectable to what has been realized in certain historical times and spaces, and remains open to further imagining the community.
Jugofuturism can help overcome borders, both old and new, imagine a union through diversity and multiplicity.
